Nice, very polished stainless steel soleplate which glides easily over clothes. Has an anti-calcium system to prevent buildup caused by hard water which can block the steam system. Another nice feature is the power cord retractor - which works very well.

Steam out wrinkles quickly and easily with this 1200-watt iron. The unit's stainless-steel curved nonstick soleplate provides smooth, gentle gliding, and its temperature ranges from 176 to 392 degrees F to accommodate a variety of different fabrics. Turn the temperature dial to choose from five fabric settings; a handy reference chart for fabrics and temperatures comes printed on the iron's base. For added convenience, use the iron's push-button spray mist to direct extra moisture where it's needed most or the jet-of-steam function for a powerful burst of steam to blast away stubborn wrinkles--or to clean the steam vents after ironing. Its adjustable steam allows for selecting the right amount of steam for the job--regular steam for heavier material or light steam for quick touch-ups; or choose the "dry" setting for no steam output. With the push of a button, the iron can also be used to vertically steam drapery, hanging garments, and other household items. To ensure safety, its electronic sensor automatically shuts off the iron after 10 minutes if left upright on its heel rest or after 60 seconds if left unmoved on its soleplate or if tipped over on its side. Other highlights include a see-through 5-2/5-ounce water tank that detaches for easy filling, an anti-calcium system that keeps vents free from build-up, and a push-button retractable cord reel for tidy cord storage. With its Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, the iron measures 10-2/5 by 4-2/7 by 5-2/7 inches.
